Finding Her Inner “Good Girl”

Training for dogs and cats.

Helping pets become as responsible as their owners

Socialization and training should begin early to prevent behavior issues. Whether you have a puppy who needs to learn manners, or want to teach an old dog new tricks, we have just the resource for you!

With over 17 years of dog trainer experience, Heather Moore, the owner and primary trainer at Wag it Better, has been a great addition to our team. She offers private lessons, a latchkey program, board and train, and a wide variety of group classes, some even offered here at Animal Care Veterinary Hospital!

For owners of frisky felines, Pam Johnson-Bennett can provide cat enrichment articles, and several fun and informative books.

Behavior problems

Many behavior problems can be caused by a medical condition. If your pet has shown a sudden change in behavior it is best to have one of our doctors perform a thorough physical exam. Based on their exam findings they will discuss if additional diagnostics, medication, or working with a trainer would be best for your pet.
