Duke Tidwell, CVPM - Hospital Manager
Duke Tidwell is a native of Nashville who attended Father Ryan High School, Downtown Campus (Go Irish!), and Middle Tennessee State University where he attained his BS in Agribusiness/Business Administration in 1994.
Duke began working for Jackson Animal Care Clinic, then under the ownership and administration of Dr. George Jackson and his wife Betty, in the fall of 1990, bringing with him three years of experience from a busy five-doctor practice in Nashville (Mobley Veterinary Clinic), where he worked while attending high school. Over the years, Duke has participated in the transformation of Jackson Animal Care Clinic into the AAHA Accredited Animal Care Veterinary Hospital that serves clients and their pets today. “I am proud of where we came from and excited about our vision for the future-not only our vision for ACVH, but for the profession of veterinary medicine in general.”
Duke recently became a CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) joining an elite group of the best practice managers in the country. His hobbies include: buying and selling antiques, traveling (especially to the beach), and spending quality time with his Chihuahua, Apollo, and his family.
Fun Fact: Duke is really talented at identifying trees and birds!
